Ethereum Surges: New Record in Holder Numbers, Analysts Bullish on Potential
The departing trading week has proven to be highly optimistic for the majority of crypto assets, with Ethereum notably outperforming Bitcoin in terms of growth dynamics. Surpassing the key resistance at $2000, Ethereum shows no signs of slowing down. Over the last 24 hours, Ethereum has gained 10%, and over the past month, the coin has surged by an impressive 30%.
According to representatives from Finbold, a sustained bullish rally was supported by the active participation of various investor groups. Holders with a balance of less than 0.1 ETH, in particular, were notably active. It is noteworthy that the total number of investors with such asset quantities recently surpassed a record 100,000 individuals.
Currently, the majority of industry analysts agree that the leading altcoin retains the potential for further strengthening. An expert known as Trader Tardigrade on the social platform X (Twitter) emphasized that the coin’s quotes on a 3-day interval have solidified above the 200-day moving average. According to the expert, this opens up room for Ethereum to maneuver in the context of potential growth towards $2500.
At present, Ethereum is trading at $2105, showing an increase of almost 18% in the last 24 hours. Over the past month, the asset has gained 33.6%. Analysts from Finbold underscored that if the coin maintains its current momentum, its quotes could reach $3000 in the near future.
It’s also worth noting that the recent bullish trend in Ethereum was influenced by news that the largest U.S. asset management company, BlackRock, is planning to file for the development of a spot ETF for Ethereum soon. However, representatives of the American corporation have not yet confirmed this information.
