KPMG and Chainalysis Collaboration: Canada Takes a Stand Against Cryptocurrency Crime

Auditors from the renowned consulting company KPMG and analysts from Chainalysis have announced their readiness to provide comprehensive support to national legal entities and government bodies in Canada for detecting and preventing illegal cryptocurrency transactions. The partners plan to offer specialized solutions for cryptocurrency exchanges, financial institutions, and government agencies. Enzo Carlucci, Head of the Forensic Service at KPMG Canada, emphasized that their team will act as "certified Chainalysis investigators" under the "Solution Provider" program. "The partnership between KPMG and Chainalysis will provide Canadian enterprises with access to cutting-edge blockchain monitoring technologies, allowing them to timely identify and curb criminal activities associated with digital assets," assured the top manager. For some time now, KPMG Canada has been actively developing services for participants in the crypto market. Last year, the company opened the first collaboration center between its divisions in the US and Canada in the cryptocurrency world. KPMG's Canadian unit has also invested in bitcoins and ether, acquiring digital art pieces from the NFT collection World of Women (WoW). Earlier, Canadian law enforcement agencies announced the implementation of specialized Chainalysis Reactor software to track suspicious cryptocurrency transactions across different blockchains.
