The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange has announced planned maintenance for its Binance Convert service, resulting in the temporary suspension of trading for 15 trading pairs. The exchange’s team clarified that on February 28, trading pairs on Binance Convert, including WBNB-BNB, WETH-ETH, GXS-REI, BTTOLD-BTTC, TRXOLD-TRX, STGOLD-STG, RDNTOLD-RDNT, QUICKOLD-QUICK, AVAOLD-AVA, OPUSDCE-USDC, MATICUSDCE-USDC, ARBUSDCE-USDC, TUSDOLD-TUSD, PAX-USDP, and BUSD-FDUSD, will be temporarily suspended.
The company explained that the main objective of the upcoming maintenance is to “improve system performance and stability.” It is promised that the planned technical maintenance will take approximately two hours. Users will only be able to resume trading with the aforementioned pairs on Binance Convert after the completion of the procedure. However, Convert clients will still be able to trade other trading pairs not included in the list of restrictions during the system maintenance.
